Project Challenges

  • Transforming Followers into Creators for social media.

  • Creating a UI for users to share NFT with easy steps without tech or coding skills.

  • Affordability & quality remains a challenge to develop block chains automated and integrated with social media models such as Creator hub and Instagram.

 

Starting the Design thinking process.

IDEATION - HMW framework

At this point of the design process I created several questions using HMW In order to better understand the user Problem statement and find solutions.

  • How might we ensure that users can understand how to share NFT easily?

  • How might we determine NFT Bidding price based on ETH current rate ?

  • How might we leverage user motivations to transform Followers into creators to increase user engagement ?

User Research

2- Qualitative user research.

I decided to conduct a remote moderated interview via Skype with 10 participants.

In order to understand the user needs and goals I asked the following questions :

  • What challenges do you usually face when bidding in NFT ?

  • Is there anyway in which you feel challenges could be resolved ?

  • How often do you use NFT or social media ?

Based on the data collected I found out that most of the users needs to trust the platform.

Specially when securing transaction and payment information online.

Additionally I wanted to gain insights about the app user frustrations , so I crafted the questions

carefully prior to conduct the user interview. next step I made sure to apply this insight into

creating personas for a clear idea of the target users

Design solutions

USER FLOW -

Designing UI for 4 onboarding screens

Onboarding is important to show user how to use the new feature on creator hub .

  • Onboarding explains to user step by step

    User upload media > choose NFT variation > place NFT price > confirms > share NFT via creator hub.

  • Followers > place Bid or offer .

  • Creator > accept bid transaction .

Low- Fidelity wireframes

Goal : Developing use cases + paper wireframes + user story

I began with sketches and paper wireframes, taking the time to draft iteration of each screen of the app

on paper ensured that all elements that made it to the digital wireframes would be well- suited to address

The user pain points for the Home screen I prioritized a quick & easy ordering flow to help users save time.

Design goals

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings

from the user research. Easy navigation is a key user need to address in the designs. In addition

to equipping the app to work with assistive technologies.

The low fidelity prototype connected the primary user flow of navigation, the menu and ordering

to proceed with checkout page so the prototype could be used in a usability study with users.

Usability study & AB testing

Moderated usability study

I have created a usability study plan that helped me conduct

a moderated user testing the design flow, I used Google forms & onsite interviews.

  • 10 participants representing the target audience.

  • Synthesis repeated patterns and use those insights and findings into the design process.

Insights & Findings

  • Users age 20 - 36 are the most enthusiastic about the app.

  • participants wants a search filter option to help them find specific items.

  • Most of users needs a secure option to ensure NFT authenticity.
